Jennifer has been working at the CSCP since April 2018. She is part of the Sustainable Lifestyles (SL) team.

She holds a Master’s degree in Food Sciences from Hochschule Niederrhein. During her master studies, Jennifer worked in an international project to prevent food waste. In this context, she prepared e-learning materials to sensitize employees on the topic of waste generation and avoidance. As a practical approach, she supervised a group of bachelor students in the development of a type of beer made from old bread. 

Jennifer is keen on working towards more sustainable agricultural value chains and future sustainable diets and lifestyles as well as on fostering education for sustainable development. At the CSCP she is currently involved in a school project in Wuppertal, which uses creative and interactive methods and workshop formats to bring the topics of sustainable mobility and future lifestyles in the class room. Additionally, she works in the BOOM project on developing training materials on future sustainable jobs in the skilled crafts and trade sector. Finally, Jennifer is also supporting the German steering committee of the REFRESH project on implementing pilot initiatives against food waste in Germany.
