Prior to joining the CSCP team, she worked at various academic institutes in the sustainability field, where she focused on research, acquisition and teaching. She was the coordinator of the joint project “Corporate Social Responsibility Management in Logistics Networks”, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and has managed and contributed to the projects “Innovative Logistics for Sustainable Lifestyles” (funded by the BMBF) and “Consumer Responsibility. New Power and Morality of the Consumer” (funded by the Hamburg Foundation for Business Ethics). In addition, she has counselled companies of the food and the logistics sector on sustainable business strategies. Currently, she is managing the projects ProMoNa on prosumerism (funded by the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection), and the project Wissenschaftsjahr (funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research), which explores the future of work. Imke is an experienced teacher at an academic and practical level on the topics of consumer and corporate responsibility, the good life, and qualitative research methods. As a student, research scholar and volunteer, Imke has completed several stays abroad in Argentina, Colombia, Great Britain, Japan, and Spain. Imke holds a PhD in Business Ethics on Consumer Social Responsibility from Witten/Herdecke University and a Diploma in International Business Management and Ibero-Romance Studies from Passau University. Imke is a German national.
