Ahmad’s focus at the CSCP lies in the areas of Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP), Sustainable Supply Chains, Energy and Resource Efficiency Investment as well as Stakeholder Dialogues and Engagement.

He studied public policy at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy of Erfurt University, Germany. For his studies he received a partial scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). At the CSCP, Ahmad manages and supports projects aiming to green industrial value chains in sectors such as textiles, food as well as automotive.

Prior to joining the CSCP, he served as assistant director at the Ministry of Social Welfare and Special Education in Pakistan. During his service, he executed various welfare projects in the areas of education, health and social security. Before joining the public sector, he was serving as a human resources officer in a large textile manufacturing firm in Pakistan.

Ahmad is a German national.
