Are you an ideally native English speaker that is fluent in German and interested in working to support mainstreaming sustainability in an international environment? Do you like to connect different cultures and always see opportunities, even when challenges arise frequently?

Your Tasks
The international project manager mainly supports CSCPs international projects with a focus on the African continent. You will work within a highly motivated team and focus on stakeholder engagement, market analysis and business model development for Biofuel in a large EU funded project.

Job Description

  • take over project management responsibility for the CSCP’s project tasks in a complex international environment
  • support in organizing events delivering administrative tasks
  • collaborate with public and private organisations as well as stakeholders with different needs, perspectives and interests
  • ensure quality of the project’s deliverables and satisfaction of EU administration

Key Requirements

  • Completed tertiary degree in a sustainability and business related field (e.g. business/economics, management, natural sciences, international relations)
  • Minimal 6 years of relevant work experience in international projects
  • Passionate about embedding sustainability into business. Experience in one or more areas of energy transition, value chain development, biomass processing, innovative business models.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, managing a project team, business development, report writing, presenting and workshop facilitation.
  • Structured thinker and pragmatic decision maker, even under time pressure
  • Many years’ experience in working in an intercultural environment, ideally in the African context
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with written and spoken fluency in English, preferably also in German
  • Team builder and player, proactive and can-do attitude

As a non-for-profit organization the CSCP applies its collective bargaining law (TV-L).
