G-STIC Kicks Off a Global Exchange of Solutions – Let’s Collaborate!

Titled “Connecting Technological Innovation to Decision Making for Sustainability,” the first G-STIC Conference will take place from 23-25 October in Brussels. The Global Science Technology and Innovation Conference focuses on applying digitalisation, technology and innovation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) . The CSCP is leading the theme on integrated ICT solutions for the SDGs and sustainable lifestyles.

At G-STIC, the CSCP is facilitating discussion around the cross-cutting theme of “ICT as an enabling technology” for sustainable lifestyles. Topics covered will include how ICT can have a transformative and disruptive impact on many sectors and the human side of technology. The user, customer, and citizen perspectives on digitalisation will be considered as well as potential solutions already being proposed.

The conference will address these issues in four sessions with speakers drawing from examples from around the world.

The end goal of the ICT sessions at G-STIC is to come to conclusions on ICT solutions that can be conceptualized, developed and implemented, with real user value, accelerating SDG implementation.

The CSCP is also participating in the cluster: CIRCULAR ECONOMY, The role of Industry 4.0 as a technological driver for the Circular Economy with its partners from the R2Pi project.
