Join our CSR.digital Conference “Digital Approaches in Circular Economy” on 18 June 2021 @CSRdigital1 As part of the German Digital Day (Digitaltag), the conference offers a platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to discuss how they could benefit from new developments in circular value creation in times of scarce resources. A paradigm shift in the logic of value creation from linear to circular models can help companies to position themselves better on the market and strengthen their resilience. A circular approach takes into account all stages of a product’s life cycle, from raw material extraction to use and disposal. This long and complex process can be supported with digitalisation. Digitalisation offers solutions for networking, optimisation, and tracking, it supports with design, enables transparency, and offers the reduction of the use of material. The conference starts with a panel discussion, including representatives from the business, civil society and IT sector. The panel discussion is followed by three workshop sessions. The workshops tackle topics such as 3D printing, e-commerce, or software development and application in relation to circular economy.
