Join us for a Circular Economy Mapping Exercise in Wuppertal on 7 February 2018 Joining the concerted effort of the Circular Economy Club, the CSCP is hosting the Circular Economy Mapping Exercise session for Wuppertal on 7 February 2018. The session will bring together circular economy enthusiasts and professionals to discuss and learn about the latest circular economy initives in our city. It is part of a worldwide effort to map circular initiatives, taking place in more than 60 cities in over 35 countries. The event is sponsored by the CSCP’s R2Pi project and moderated by Piyush Dhawan, Research Fellow at the CSCP through the German Chancellor Fellowship Programme. The Mapping Exercise at the CSCP brings together professionals working on the advancement of the circular economy on a local level. Jointly, we will map the best initiatives and identify the challenges for the transformation towards the circular economy. During the event, we will focus on mapping initiatives along the whole circular economy value chain and across as many industries as possible. R2Pi will present its efforts on mainstreaming circular economy business models. Identifying and implementing sustainable business models are one of the CSCP’s key competences, making this a unique opportunity to draw from extensive experience for a joint future outlook. All local Mapping Exercises are part of the Circular Economy Mapping Week, an intiative of the Circular Economy Club, an international network of circular economy professionals and organisations. It takes place on the 5-11 February 2018 and connects volunteer organisers around the world in mapping circular activities in their cities. Information gathered in these sessions will be collected and made available online, accessible and free for all. It is a collaborative effort for advancing knowledge of existing circular economy initiatives and inspiring new ones.
