SWITCH Asia Network Facility provides support and assistance to the SWITCH Asia programme for better knowledge and information sharing and policy update of successful SCP practices. SWITCH Asia is a European Commission programme which focuses on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) and directly contributes to sustainable growth and the fight against poverty. The Network Facility is established by the European Commission and hosted by CSCP. It was officially kicked off in November 2008 and will assist the funded SWITCH Asia projects with:
The Network facility will also provide policy makers with briefings and booklets on SCP approaches and practices and the policy linkages; case studies on effective SCP policy practices, and outcomes of the SWITCH-Asia programme and policy recommendations.
Future outputs of the Network Facility include a Network Facility brochure, a booklet on SCP and climate change, a website and a networking event.
