"Only one earth, don't waste it"

A step closer to changing our behaviour 'Green Week', the biggest annual conference devoted to European environmental policy, took place this year from the 3rd-6th June, in the Charlemagne building, Brussels. As part of the session on SCP and the European Commission’s Action Plan, head of the CSCP, Michael Kuhndt, gave a presentation on the worldwide SCP perspective. 'Green Week' was aimed to provide a platform for debate, exchange of experiences, and best practices among varying participants from business, NGOs and different levels of government and the public. Vienna Conference on "Efficiency, Environment & Employment 2006"

On occasion of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, SERI (Austria) will organise a two days conference in cooperation with CSCP to reflect more recent developments and synergies between economic efficiency, environment and employment.
