The Centre provides scientific support to activities undertaken by UNEP and other organisations in the field of SCP. This support includes the development, testing, implementation and monitoring of concrete projects, especially in developing countries, which enables these countries to leapfrog to sustainable consumption and production patterns using life cycle thinking and regional perspectives as guiding principles.

Visions and policy actions for future sustainable lifestyles
10 November 2011, Brussels. “Sustainable Lifestyles 2050: Visions and Policy Actions” will be discussed at an upcoming conference, to be held in Brussels on 10 November 2011. This event is part of the CSCP-coordinated project SPREAD Sustainable Lifestyles 2050, which aims to develop a vision for future sustainable lifestyle models. Read more

Meet the CSCP at the Pirate Summit. CSCP is becoming a Pirate – The Pirate Summit is an exclusive networking-event in the European start-up community. On Tuesday, September 20th, in Cologne, 200 hand-picked “pirates” will be given the opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions with other visionaries and risk-takers to define new standards for entrepreneurship. Media Producers and Sustainability
