1st Wuppertal Tauschmob (Exchange-mob) co-organised by CSCP

The Wuppertal Tauschmob aims to show innovative and clever ideas to consume more sustainably. The Tauschmob is based on a method of collaborative consumption, called swapping: Through the online exchange platform Netcycler, interested people can offer their used items online and put up a wishlist of items. The Netcycler platform will then try to find appropriate exchange partners or even form an exchange ring so a number of people will be able to give their offered items away in exchange for an item that they had wished for. This augments the chances of a swap 400 times. Items can range from books, sports equipment, CDs / DVDs or even clothing. The Tauschmob event can then be used as a meeting point for exchanging the products.

During the 3 hour event from 14:00 to 17:00 there will be live music, a supporting entertainment programme and also prizes to be won (e.g. for the most exchanges).

It is possible to register for Netcycler and the Tauschmob via www.netcycler.de/tauschmob/ and put up items for offer and wishes.
