According to the report Sustainable Lifestyles: Today’s Facts & Tomorrow’s Trends, many initiatives, policies, businesses and social movements have accumulated in Europe in the last decade which have motivated citizens to change their lives to higher quality, less impact on the environment, and less costs. The report prepared by the CSCP coordinated EU project SPREAD Sustainable Lifestyles 2050 presents a synthesis of research, leading policy and practice, and stakeholder views on potential pathways toward a further spreading of sustainable lifestyles.

From 25-27 June, this year's Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum in Bonn will spotlight "Culture. Education. Media. Shaping a Sustainable World". The CSCP will host a workshop on June 26th on the topic of Sustainable Lifestyles and Communication and Journalism of the Future. The workshop aims to develop a better understanding of the influence that different media and communications have on lifestyles. Read more
The CSCP in collaboration with Euroforum will be giving a CSR workshop in the context of the seminar ‘Kompakt-Lehrgang zum Nachhaltigkeits-Experten im Unternehmen’ (Compact Seminar for Becoming a Sustainability Expert in Your Company). For the fourth year running the Sustainable Summer School is back by popular demand! Design students from all over the world are invited to meet in Helsinki, Finland from 25th August till 3rd September 2012 to develop ideas around sustainable travel, lifestyles, basic aspects and tools and much more. The focus of this year’s meeting will be looking at ‘Sustainable Transition’ and asking which steps are needed in order to move from our current situation towards a more sustainable future. Read more
