WWF One Planet Mobility Report with contributions from CSCP

One Planet Mobility

How can the “Triangle of Change” encourage sustainable personal mobility within planetary limits? During 2007 and early 2008 WWF's One Planet Mobility campaign brought together more than 30 European organisations from the transport sector, including business, government, research and civil society with the goal to create collaborative solutions for sustainable mobility. The outcomes of this process and the insights it generated are now set out in WWF's new report. "Only one earth, don't waste it"

A step closer to changing our behaviour 'Green Week', the biggest annual conference devoted to European environmental policy, took place this year from the 3rd-6th June, in the Charlemagne building, Brussels. As part of the session on SCP and the European Commission’s Action Plan, head of the CSCP, Michael Kuhndt, gave a presentation on the worldwide SCP perspective. Award for Environmental Governance Standards Project

The project "Environmental Governance Standards for Development Financing Institutions" (EGS) has received honourable mention in the Developing Nation category of the 2008 "Associations Make A Better World" awards by the Washington D.C.-based American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Center for Association Leadership. The "Associations Make A Better World" awards competition recognises outstanding association programmes, projects and activities that make a significant contribution to societies and economies worldwide.
