11. ECR-Day. Turnaround: Conflict or Cooperation?
The CSCP will be present at the 11th ECR-Day on 22-23 September 2010 in Hamburg, Germany. The ECR-day will bring together leading personalities from business and industry to discuss new trends and strategies, that aim at responding to a changing consumer behavior as well as to new ecological and sociopolitical requirements. Towards Sustainable Entrepreneurship: SMART Start Up Workshop in Wuppertal
The workshop was held on 13th - 16th of April in Wuppertal, Germany. The aim of the training was to initiate universities and colleges in the issues and concepts of sustainable lifestyles and sustainable entrepreneurship. The workshop itself was designed to be an educate-the-educator workshop, meaning that the focus was not only on the content; sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship, but also on creative ways of sharing this knowledge once the participants are back in their countries. International Conference "Inspiration for Living Change"
The CSCP will act as a supporter at the conference “Inspiration for Living Change” on the 16th of September in Bonn, Germany. Organized by IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) and Colabora, the conference offers participants the opportunity to meet face to face 10 Alternative Nobel Prize laureates, who have paved the way for many influential social movements and who truly are “creators of our future”. 2nd Sustainable Summer School - Registration now open
The positive feedback of the participants bears fruit: As a result of the successful 1st Sustainable Summer School 2009, the organisers are now looking forward to receiving applications from national and international design students for the upcoming. From August 30 to September 4, 2010 creative ideas for a sustainable design of our daily life will again be in the spotlight, this year by looking at "Societies, Systems and Swarms". Introduced to the subject by a public expert day, the students will work together for several days in inspiring workshops conducted by well known institutions.
