"Wuppertal 24h live" is an enormous city event, consisting of 150 individual events and activities in some 80 different locations across the city on September 14 and 15, 2007. The idea is to showcase local competencies and changes in the region as well as present a new perspective of the city of Wuppertal to its inhabitants.

On November 6, 2007 a Japanese-German policy dialogue conference will be held at the Japanese-German Centre, Berlin. Participants will explore opportunities to enhance resource efficiency in both two countries as well as opportunities to jointly promote global resource efficiency measures.
