The CSCP in partnership with UNEP has developed an updated Efficient Entrepreneur Website to further promote the Efficient Entrepreneur Calendar and Assistant Handbook, and make it more easily available. Users can view the Calendar online, and download electronic copies of the Calendar and Assistant Handbook in English or French language versions free of charge.

The Efficient Entrepreneur Calendar is a practical tool that enables Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to take meaningful action to reduce costs, increase productivity and satisfy clients while at the same time reducing business risks and protecting the environment.

Based on the principle of "what gets measured gets done" the tools empower SMEs to demonstrate the relationship between good environmental and social management and solid financial performance with reduced risk to financial institutions, regulatory authorities, local neighbours and other stakeholders.

The Efficient Entrepreneur Calendar webpage provides users with a detailed overview of the Calendar and related tools for SMEs. Sector specific tools have been developed for the textile industry (e-textile.org) and a retail sector tool is presently under development.

The tools targets SMEs, but can as well benefit large organisations and companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, consultants, NGOs and governmental agencies who promote it to SMEs in their environment.
