NADINE PRATT

Dr. Nadine Pratt works for the CSCP as a Senior Consultant.

 

Her expertise lies in sustainable consumption and production, with special emphasis on sustainable lifestyles, sustainable food systems and agriculture, and urban sustainability. Her focus areas are Human Development through the Market (HDtM), organisational learning for sustainability and life cycle thinking. The latter encompasses life cycle assessment, closed material cycles and resource efficiency.

 

Nadine Pratt lectures at the university level on sustainability and has conducted workshops based on participatory and creative techniques, especially World Café with stakeholders from government, business and civil society. She has worked on several projects with SMEs and NGOs in the field of sustainable consumption and production, particularly leadership training for sustainability and social entrepreneurship.

 

Nadine Pratt holds a doctorate degree in economics. She studied at the University of Cologne, Germany and ESADE, Spain. Her doctoral studies she completed at the University Witten/Herdecke, Germany. For her dissertation she spent several months at the department of Peter Senge at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, conducting research on organisational learning and full system approaches to sustainability.

 

Nadine Pratt is a German-Haitian national.
