FISSEHA TESSEMA

Fisseha Tessema is a consultant at the CSCP and former senior expert at the Ethiopia Environmental Protection Authority.

 

He worked for UNDP, UNEP and GEF projects in Africa and served as chief chemist for Environmental Management, Process Control, Quality Control and Research and Development at processing industries in Africa. His area of focus at the CSCP are sustainable business approaches that creates environmental and social values, technology assessment, sustainable consumption for developing countries, the role of civil society in moving up the sustainability agenda, and analysing linkages between poverty eradication and social progress with sustainable consumption and production in Africa.

 

He holds BSc in Chemistry from Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia), Diploma in Management from Mekele University (Ethiopia), MSc in Environment and Development from Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia), and MA in Social Entrepreneurship and International Philanthropy from Bologna University (Italy).
