Elizabeth Hawkins works as a consultant at the CSCP.

 

Elizabeth is working both on the SMART project and the Civil Society Platform on SCP. Before joining CSCP she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies at Victoria University Wellington in New Zealand, where she specialised in environmental policy, conservation and development, and poverty and development. Elizabeth also completed an MSci in Chemistry at the University of Bristol in the UK, which included a year studying at the Ruprecht-Karls Universität Heidelberg. She has worked teaching English as a foreign language in Germany and Poland and has also completed various internships, including a research and development based project at GlaxoSmithKline. Elizabeth has worked as a volunteer for various organisations including her university Amnesty International society and a local environment and development initiative in Wellington.
